The basis for these posters came from a love of playing with Meccano/Erector Set toys as a child and a fascination with IKEA assemblage diagrams when I moved to Baltimore in 2001. I am also concerned by the continuing gap between the consumer class that is decreasing and the poverty class that is increasing, with the disappearing middle class. Many of the problems that society faces are neither addressed nor solved because they are not given the correct tools to complete the tasks.
These posters depict many important socioeconomic and/or political topics where the heading states the outcome and the desired result becomes unattainable because the tools do not match the parts. Sometimes the posters are more pictographic and less assemblage in nature.
These posters have been displayed in many museums/exhibitions throughout the world as well as being purchased by private collectors.
Limited edition posters will be available for sale in the near future.
