Design Coalition students worked with the Maryland Society for Sight (MSS) to develop creative strategies to promote their 100th Anniversary that culminated in an Anniversary Gala and award ceremony. We developed an identifier and tag line (A Century In Focus), promotional posters, gala brochure, invitation cards, and a collectable book that celebrates the beauty of sight.

The Book was entitled: What is The Most Beautiful Thing You Have Ever Seen? And Designer Mimi Cheng worked with young students at a local school to illustrate and/or write their response to the title. This component of the project culminated with an exhibition of the student work.

Posters Designed by: David Colson

PIECE Studio worked with Mimi Cheng and designer Alissa Jones on the MSS Photo Novella and was the perfect combination of linking social design education with social design practice.
